Howdy everyone, I am rebuilding one of my old archtop acoustics, I would like to have the headplate wood and pickguard wood match. Where is the best place to pickup wood that will already be in the thickness I would need. Thinking of Flamed Koa or some kind of quilted maple.

Thanks as always
Bill

Hi Bill,

I bet if you contact the wood suppliers here many of them would be happy to help. Someone might even have a old curly koa side left behind they could sell you.

Good Luck,

Joe
