After reading posts on a bridges effect on dampening and sound, I started doing some searches on bridge designs and came across this. It has nothing to do with bridges, but found it interesting. I don't know how useful the info is, but one of the pictures raised a question. Has anyone tried an experimental guitar with separate chambers for individual strings? It seems like it could open a whole new world for experimenting. Different woods for different chambers, soundhole sizes, chamber sizes, etc....... idunno

The grammar, syntax, and content are all indicative of either (a) MIT sophomores writing at 3 am with a same-day submission deadline; or, (b) MIT upperclassmen writing for submission to the JIR.
