Steve, why bother with necks when the boxes looks so good, hold on a minute, do I see pearl and a sunburst!

Oh well, at least you had the good sense to build a guitar model named in honour of me. In fact I don't need a neck on a guitar now ;).

Thanks for the continued support Darryl, Mike.
It would be interesting for the wood pros to weigh in on Bubinga.
LMI's catalogue (IIRC) once said that several different species are imported, all under the trade name "Bubinga". Of course, they all look the same, or nearly so. But I've had varying degrees of difficulty bending different sets of Bubinga, so I've always wondered how much of that was due to actual differences in the sets? Hmmm...one way to find out: take it to the bender.

Colin, pretty grim humor, but your comment was humorous.
I'd be happy to build these in your honour, with a "neck optional" version.

Steve

Hey thanks bro. And thank you Bill.
Better yet, try to bend three Bubinga sides real quick.

Would that be three because the first one broke? [headinwall]

You know, that thought DID cross my mind.
Best try to go slowly w/ the bends, eh?

Yep, as my dad used to tell me while growing up in South Texas, "easy does 'er son"! Over the years I've found that advice, as simplistic as it is, to save me a lot time, money, and frustration. [:Y:] After that, just keep on keepin' on. ;)
