I promised Lance in the spirit of the original 300,000th post that I would spend the prize funds with one of the OLF sponsors.
I also promised in another post that I would be accountable to the OLF'ers regarding what I purchased and where. Most of
you probably don't care but this post is solely for the purpose of keeping my word.

It was a very difficult decision since all of our sponsors carry great products and there is very little that I need. My greatest
need is always for more small tools for precision work. Many of the tools I found myself in need of, I could fabricate myself at
a fraction of the cost. Finally I made a decision on a tool that I could make but based upon materials cost for the jig portion
added with the cost of the tool, and my time, this was the best deal I could find as far as what I really needed to add to my
stash of tools. Thank you Lance, Brock, and everyone else involved with OLF for making the funds available that made this
purchase possible for me.

The winner was (and it was a very difficult decision) Blues Creek Guitars. The item is the Precision Pearl Inlay Tool. It is a tool I
would have managed without but considering it is much more flexible than the cable driven unit I have for my dremel, I think
it will be a perfect addition to my family of tools. Thanks again to everyone that made this possible.

You wont be dissapointed .. although I got mine from Dave Nichols, it is very well used. Not only do I use it to inlay, but also to route the finish off the top for gluing a bridge - clean, easy and fast - students can even do it !!! Its simply fantastic.

Congratulations on a good choice Bill. [:Y:]

I have one of those from John also, and love it. I picked up a foot-operated air valve ("switch") on eBay to go with it. Makes operating it much simpler by allowing both hands free to concentrate on the workpiece/s.

Cheers,
Dave F.

Congrats Bill!
Well spent! [:Y:]

John is one of our founding sponsors. He's been here nearly as long as me ;)

Thanks Y'all!

This has been a great encouragement and confirmation that the decision I labored over for the past several days was in deed the correct one.

Being one of the more recent members to join so I could participate rather than watch from the background, I felt unworthy of the prize.
I felt the least I could do was labor in my decision to try and honor the spirit of it all. :)
