no the only difference is that you have to work from the center line out to the cutaway. Other than that it is the same.

I can't answer on about Johns work, I did not know John offerd an Sj. I know he produces bending forms and assembly molds for my SJ (ie the OLF-SJ). If your cutaway is per the dimensions on the OLF SJ plans then no there is no change on the Xbracing and just a length change on the UTB. But I suspect that if you have a recent set of the OLF plans purchased through Stewart MacDonlald you would have know that . I would like to take the oppertunity to encourage you to buy a set. 70% of our share of the sell price help support this forum

First: HI JOHN!

2nd: A shameless plug for ALL John's work!

I am working from one of the last sets of plans that Lance sent out! (They are on the wall of my office!

I got tired of trying to make a good set of forms, sooo, I ordered a template, mold and a bending machine from John at Bluescreek. The mold and forms included the cut-away design element, but were not an element included in the older set of plans. I have not seen the new plans. but I will put the on my wish list!

Thanks

Sanford

i to will give a hear hear for John's work. I do belive that the first sets of cutaways John did for my SJ plans were pretty much a standard Martn Ven. cutaway I don't know if he has addapted to the cutaway as dimensiond on the new plans that Stewmac retails or not but it does bring up a good popint that i should cover bases with him on this. Hey John :D
