I think it means Oklahoma City ... Next year we are getting TV up here, at least thats what I thought the smoke signals said - but it was windy .. and dark .. and I had my reading glasses on.

I'm down South in Carlsbad. I just discovered SIMSCAL, the OC guitar builders' club. I'm going to my first meeting next month, a seminar on fretting. You can find their website here:

I've been threatening to go to simscal for some time, maybe I'll see you guys there! I live in Covina, about 50 klicks due west of L.A.

The next SIMCAL meeting is Fretting with Kathy Wingert. The timing is perfect as I'm about to do a fret job on a Dred.

Hi,

I used to be a denizen of OC (Anaheim, Tustin, Santa Ana & G.G.) but that was 24 years ago. A job transfer and now I am in nearby (~98 miles?) VC and doing some building. Retired and "lovin' it! laughing6-hehe Just thought I'd chime in with my two pennies worth. bliss
