thanks for the reply guys i was thinking central placement mt had not thought of elevation.
luckily i have plety of shecentral to the room that will be perfect for it to live on.
hesh these are the machines i have.
i have one in my little personal guitar building shop and two in the store rooms/workshop where my wood is kept for the business.
my workshop is allways at about room temprature (about 18c or 65f) but the wood shop can get colder than that.
i do of course have heating on a timer but try to keep the temprature at about room level if i can.
i think these dehumidifiers can run in much colder enviroments though.
apparantly this graphite technolagy cant freeze up whatever the temprature (i would like to see it try to in the arctic though

).
what i do know though is that it works very well for me and pulls huge amounts of moisture from the air very quickly and keeps the rh level at 45% (its allso very very quiet.
i leave it in on for 4 hours then off for two.
seems to work for me so far.
i was just not so sure about optimal placement.
Joel.
