I wet sanded my 00 EM6000 finished guitar and buffed it out this morning. I am quite happy with the way it looks, I need to glue on the bridge make a nut and saddle ... Still I am excited to show the progress.

Looks great, Bubinga always looks interesting and coupled with the redwood it is a great look.

She is a real beauty John. I always get excited when I buff out a guitar, so I know how you feel!

Thanks!

It is done. I made this guitar for a 23 year old niece of mine who asked me for a guitar. It has a sinker redwood top, bubinga back and sides plus rosette and head stock veneer. It is styled after a Martin 00 guitar. Forward X brace. I made mine a little light on the braces but I did follow a 00 Martin bracing pattern.

Me too! Love the headstock as well - simple pleasing lines.
