I was touching up the finish on a well-used solidbody this afternoon with CA and a little TruOil. At one point, I dropped my bottle of CA on the floor and it landed flat on one side. I thought little of it, picked it up and kept working. Reached a stopping point and went to stand up. My left foot jerked a bit, and then moved. I looked under the table to see about a dime-sized spot of skin stuck to the green marbled linoleum. I had superglued my heel down.

I've glued my fingers and thumbs to benches, tools, guitars, and even guitar parts - but never a foot. I know what you're thinking.... Pile, what happened to your shoes and socks? I had just taken a shower about an hour earlier before sitting down, and was wearing gym shorts and a T-shirt with no footwear.

First time in 40 plus years I've glued down a lower extremity. Just thought I'd let you know.... In case you needed a laugh.

I have been there, with a sock on no less. In my case the acetone was in reach and little by little I freed myself with not too much damage.

I hear tell of someone spilling CA onto a stool they were sitting on, not knowing it until it got hot where the sun don't shine.

In Kansas I would think your winter time shop floor would be very cold for bare feet. Do you have the luxury of a heated floor? :)

No, but my dad lives with me and he likes it warm.
