Hi guys. New to the forum and quite keen!! I've been repairing guitars as a hobby for awhile and have one that I need help with. I have a 2006 Guild CV-1 that I need a new neck for. I don't have the complete story but it was destroyed (mutilated actually) so repair isn't possible. The CV-1 has a detachable joint system for the neck that I understand had some quality control issues. I'm sure many of you will suggest I make a new neck but frankly this is a little outside my comfort zone. Can anyone point me in the direction of a proper used neck. I can't help thinking somewhere these is a CV-1 with a body that is the same condition as my neck and putting them together would put a beautiful Guild back in playable condition. Many thanks!!! |
