Got an email last evening from Tony Ferguson who finishes guitars for some OLFers and other luthiers. He says these pics display one coat of clear. Looks great to me, what do you think? Thanks Tony for the great looking finish work. Hank Mauel check this out! [clap]

You can contact Tony at fergusonguitars at sbcglobal.net about his work. He doesn't have a website presently. I'll see if I have his phone number, no I don't. So, I'll email him and post it here. Take a look:

616-842-4114 Tony Ferguson in Western Michigan by the Lake he says. Got any pics Tony?

Tony put the finish on the OLF 2 Member Project Guitar.

This guitar is destined as a gift for a great guy who had some serious health issues a while back. He's much better now.

The guitar heads out to California now to Mr. Guitar himself, Hank Mauel.

Thanks to Tony on the current work, timely too. Ships Monday.

Sept. 22, 2008

I posted Tony's number above in case you are interested in him doing some work for you.

PS we could use a volunteer to make a label for this and maybe a certificate of it's birth to present to the recipient from the OLF. I have all the names, design would be your idea.... bdickey@suddenlink.net
