Even though you admittitly do not know the substance of the problem, I will gladly pull my tail between my legs and follow, believing that the closure has more to do with your closeness to a principal than closure, I will meekly follow. Hop you enjoyed your happy Christmas shopping.

Sadly,
My daughter, when concious, and myself were overcome by the offers, prayers, and wishes expressed by many other members of the OLF

update:
Rach is neither better or worse. Dr. says next 72 hours crucial.
I would like you all to know a little about Rach.
Rach attended Colorado College on a scholarship and graduated Cum Laude. She was headhunted by many major institutions in diverse fields but instead opted to attend the University of Denver to obtain a MSW (Master of Social Work-yes, she's another bleeding heart like her pop). She contracted this disease in southern Mexico working (she minored in Spanish- to be able to also aid and counsel Mexican and Mexican American troubled adolecent teenagers. Her loss to me and mankind would be incalculatable.
You have overwhelmed me with your care, sincerity, brotherhood and prayers for her recovery. I read every message, believing the stream of tears must have an end but n
I love and cherish you all,

Dr. just called,
Some infection has receeded from upper portions of her body, temp down, somewhat. We are still deep in a dark forboding forest, but I swear I can hear all of you ax blows falling steadily.
Love,

Rach was conscious for a while and the first words out of her mouth were that she had to return to the Mexican villiage because there remains a very troubled female teenager she is very concerned about.
If only all of us could care for each other in this way.
Love,

Hey Bob

This is a terrible thing to go through. My dad passed away unexpectedly
on the evening of Dec. 23rd a few years ago. I didn't know what to do
with myself. After a while I found myself buried in Psalms written by
other characters wailing on in grief. A grief Observed by C.S. Lewis
was also in my hands quite a bit---the journals of a man who'd just lost a
loved one that really went down into it.

I can see that you're two-stepping a bit with some pretty strong reactions
to things. This forum is here to listen, but do you have someone who can
be present with you?

Larry,

Hope you shared your daughter's healing testimony with Bob. If not, Bob, ask Larry to tell you about it. It relevant and timely.

Having just yesterday been at the birth of my second daughter, I know your heart must be heavy.

Be at peace Bob

Temp. 98.8, almost all infection in full retreat I am overwhelmed by the outpouring of messages of hope and prayer. Every time I read one, I cannot help the tears in my eyes and heart. Please allow me a little shut eye before answering your wonderful messages.
I love you all,
