Sure, Steve! Just send a round-trip plane ticket, provide room and board for a few days, and find me a nice girl to marry, and we're all set! 
It was fun visiting Chris and helping out. You'll note that I've acquired the proper "luthier's posture," where it looks like your neck is growing straight out of your chest! It would probably have been quite entertaining for many of you to watch two newbies trying to figure out what's wrong, and attempting to fix it without messing something else up! We actually made good progress, though, and I learned that it may, in fact, be possible to properly fit a neck. I can't prove that by myself yet, though. I think Chris is gonna have another good-looking, good-sounding guitar with this one!
Chris has a very nice work space in his basement. It's well organized and has plenty of room for a one-person shop. What got my envy going is his drawer space. He's got drawers everywhere! Places to put his stuff, so he can find it when he needs it! Oh, and I think I've discovered the secret of these guys with neat shops--a real dust collector! I've got a two-gallon Shop Vac, and can testify that it does make a difference.
All-in-all, it was an entertaining and educational evening--something that's always a pleasant surprise when you're an adult.
