I have used a toothbrush to clean up squeeze out when gluing braces with hide for a long time. Never thought of using it to clean up frets when gluing with hide or tightbond. For what’s it’s worth it works great.  IMG_9813 by Terence Kennedy, on Flickr

Toothbrushes were made for cleaning surfaces. They excel at it. I use them to clean up the fingerboard of nasty crud, or as a brush to clear chips during drilling operations. |
