I'm finishing up moving my shop from Tennessee to North Carolina. I've been getting down to the long lost stuff, and I found these among that stuff. It's a 70's Stew Mac catalog and a shipping box from the same time period. No guitar parts in those days, no fancy tools...

Anyway, thought some of you might enjoy seeing these.

The Metropolitan Museum of Art actually has one of those banjos that is shown on the patent drawing--Hercules McCord made it. Pretty cool--the head is tightened with one bolt in the middle of the back of the rim via a crazy apparatus. Definitely the golden age of weird banjo design.
