I think many of us appreciate how strong Robbie O'Brien's online instruction videos are. If you have not checked his website, and purchased at least one video series, you are missing out on a great value. But there is a new learning opportunity Robbie just recently started offering: Virtual classes via Zoom. I took part in a virtual class Robbie offered over the last three weeks (three successive Saturday nights, each about 2 hours long) on voicing a steel string top. It was wonderful! Some of us have trouble traveling to the educational hot spots for guitar building, and/or spending a week or more away from home. This virtual class format was a great fit for me, and I learned a whole lot. Robbie is considering other virtual classes in the future. I strongly recommend that you sign up for any such class that interests you. Thanks for the class, Robbie! |

I’ve enjoyed the classes I’ve taken from his site - and I like that you can get parts/pieces of a course (ie, the top voicing section of his complete acoustic class). Definitely good stuff- I’ve referred back to them over and over. |
