Houston Hardwoods had some Texas Ebony a while back. They have a website if you want to check them out. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

The source that I know is "rgv-stingraymill" on ebay. He currently does not show any. I was able to get some that was suitable for fretboards one time, but my next order was trash. The seller is not interested in cutting out fretboard sized blanks, only sells rough cut log slabs. I figured for how much I was paying and how much waste there was, I could buy black Ebony boards for less. The stuff that I was able to get made for a nice fretboard, but I hated working the wood, it was nasty. |

Check out the pics at texaswoodcraft.net. Some of it looks big enough for fretboards. |
