Apparently Jorgensen/Pony went out of business this past spring so the only one I can find is the "shop fox" version which is is not highly regarded online. Anyone know of another source or have experience with the shop fox - maybe not as bad as advertised? I suppose I could try to modify a C-clamp but that seems like a lot of work. Thanks. |

Dieter Schmid (Fine Tools.com) shows a 12" press screw, but with shipping, it's close to 100 Euro...more for shipping than for the screw. Our supplier for Fox bender screws, Adjustable Clamp Company (Jorgensen/Pony) is out of business...too bad. Another US company closing their doors. |

I have a couple of the shop fox screws from grizzly. while not the smoothest screw around it works fine for my purpose, in the side bender. Tough to complain at $15. |

We have a few Shop Fox and some others that are identical but painted green -- they are what they are and work fine. Not sure I understand why some feel this super course threaded device should have or needs the precision of a lead screw? |
