Time for a fret slotting gang saw. A 25.5 board can be cut on a 34" scale saw, but from my figuring a 25" cannot be.

Two different arbors, correct?

Thanks all,

Matt

I get the file is password protected, mind you using Microsoft Works.

Sorry you had trouble with this Fred. Many folks have used the spreadsheet zipped at this link, but I don't know if anyone has used Works.

The Excel workbook itself is not protected, but there are cells in the worksheet that are capable of having protection turned on -- basically all cells with the exception of user-input cells in blue. The cell protection currently has no password protection, so if you're asked for one, I suggest simply pressing "enter", but this really should only happen if you try to modify a non-blue cell.

Maybe someone else with Works can verify.

The purpose of pointing to the spreadsheet was as a tool to verify the OP's conclusion. Where he only requires the fret spacing for different scale lengths, the Stewmac online calculator can of course do the same thing.
