My wonderful mother updated my GAL membership and bought me the Big Red Book volume 3, based on my lovely wife's suggestion!

As far as tools go, my wife got me a great set of HSS countersinks from Lee Valley, and my sister and brother in-law got me a beautiful awl from Blue Spruce :D

My wife and I went on a vacation in November for our Christmas. Anyway, she has come to realize that buying me gifts for my luthiery addiction has just become too difficult since I long ago acquired all of the usual suspects. Now I just get what I want/need on my own so my gifts to me this Christmas were a really nice back/side set of Tasmanian Blackwood with lots of curl and a Robert Larson 7-flute hand countersink.

Yeah, the things I need are always so specific, and a lot of the time space is more valuable than stuff, so I always do my own guitar-related shopping and save the packages to open on Christmas :) This time was a set of StewMac double sided nut slot files from sjmay77 in the classifieds, and a lovely small coco set from heeersjohhny on ebay, which should just fit another small classical like this, or a steel string terz guitar.

I got a Caruth ultimatum scrapper. Last night I snuck down in the shop for a few minutes to try it out. Where have you been all my life!?!

If you got the big one then you might as well order the small one too, you'll want it :)
