Hi everyone,

I wanted to share this for anyone interested. The North Bennet Street School, one of the finest Craft schools in America, is offering a month long class for beginner guitar builders focused on constructing an acoustic steel string guitar. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a good introduction to the process and theory behind building acoustic guitars. Steve Spodaryk is teaching the class and I imagine there will be a few special guests coming to visit and speak a bit to the process. Steve is an excellent guitar builder and teacher, I can't think of anyone better to teach this class. If you know of someone who might be interested please pass the info along. There are a few open slots left and for an interested person I think this is a really great opportunity for a great experience. The link to the class is here:

Wow. $2500 for a month of instruction including the materials is an incredible deal.

More incredible than you might think. Steve is a world-class builder, and a pretty brilliant person in general. He worked closely with Julius Borges for several years, and makes instruments that are some of the best I've ever seen. This class is a bargain...
