Hello fellow wood butchers. My name is Simon and I'm bar none, the very best guitar builder .... .... on my street. I see a lot of folks are from Florida and thought maybe you all might be interested in having a luthier's gathering. I am thinking June/July would be great months for me. I am located in New Smyrna Beach. We could also have this someplace more centrally located but I'm not too interested in a super long drive -- about 2 hours max which means over to Orlando or somewhere between Jacksonville and Cocoa Beach. I have no idea if that interests anyone but if so, respond and let's see what happens. Best Regards |

Simon, I attended a Luthier meeting at your place 3/12/12. I am the harp guitar guy and just posted my progress on another project here... viewtopic.php?f=10101&t=44834 We had a fantastic Luthier meeting 1/10/15 at Jim Ethington's place. I will PM you Jim's contact information as he has a list of Florida Luthiers you should contact. I am in Miami so your place is 4 hours away. I will be in Oregon the first week of July. Apologies for not replying sooner. I do have a trip planned for mid-June after grandkids get out of school (Florida Keys), but would like to meet a few of the folks on the forum if timing works out. I don't mind a drive of a few hours. |
