Does anyone know if they have history?

The other day a 78 Beneteau crossed my bench, serial number 50 or so. I took one look at it and my first thought was Larrivee, both in aesthetics and tone. Sure enough, when I popped the mirror inside, it had the Larrivee bracing pattern. So I wonder if they ever crossed paths?
