My plans are to kick back, grill steak, and watch the grass grow. I am still in the costly process of installing my CVMax cyclone so shop time has been halted until I am up and running. One of the problems of having a basement shop. What are you doing this weekend? |

Going to finish sanding, locating and masking bridge foot print, shellac wash coat on top, seal bindings, pore filling and spraying vinyl sealer on my boy's OM. Grilling burgers and sausages on labor day. |

Hopefully will start painting and finishing off my wife's pottery studio. Just need to sand the drywall and finish up the installation of a glass block window then paint and add molding. Then we can move all her stuff from the garage to her studio in which case I can move all my stuff out of my shop into the garage and finish hanging the drywall in the shop, mud and tape the walls, add bead board in places, sand and refinish the hard wood floors and finish off with crown molding. Yeah this isn't going to happen just over this weekend ![]() But geesh I need to get this done, going on a year now without building. Cool think is though that in the last year I've been buying up supplies. |

Well since I delivered my last project a couple weeks ago I haven't done much of anything. Kind of re-arranged my shop to get more working space. Wife says maybe we'll take in a movie. Probably just stick around the house mostly. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I just ordered some micro mesh kits 1,500 grit to 12,000. One for the Orbital sander and one for hand work. Hopefully I'll have this build strung up by Tuesday. The last thing I have to do is rebuild the bridge because the previous one was too short. Or maybe I'll laminate the original? |

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I haven't tried this yet but it looks pretty low tech and relatively quick. The product has great reviews and I'll be sure to let you all know what I think about it when it arrives tomorrow (I hope). I purchased both the orbital sander set and the small hand sanding kit. I'm going to try it with true oil over Shellack. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pk8wmr-Np4s |

Lonnie J Barber wrote: I know just putting you on. I've never used micro mesh before so I was wondering. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I'm hoping that it will work well with tru oil. Since the grits are so fine and the tru oil is so thin, it should be a good combination. |

I haven't done much in the past year or so, but I've working on the design of a new one and feeling really excited about it. It's taken a while for the creative process to unfold, but it's always enjoyable. |

Put a coat paint on the garage doors, went for ice cream, getting the brushes out for 2nd coat. After that, spraying stain on homemade lattice for a privacy screen, then bbq and cold ones on the deck! ![]() Alex |
