Our AC vent was blowing the wrong way. Not wanting to spend too much time making a custom baffle...

David, can you share the bracing pattern :-). I guess an Ovation wouldn't fit? Not enough air had you used a banjo? (Okay, I am out of clichés).

We tend to gather more abandoned basket cases than we know what to do with. So I look for ways to find utility with what's left rather than throwing them away (though I have burned several guitars, banjos, and dulcimers on the bonfire over the last year).

This was the final destiny of the guitar used in this video -

Brilliant video! When you pulled out the axe like tool I was bracing for the expectation that you would embed it into the top of the guitar :-).

So was I. I had fully planned for this to be a sketch ending with the hatchet embedded in the spruce or ripping off a good amount of the top, where I would end with some comment about "now this one may need a little touch up, but...". When it came off that clean it was all I could do to play it off like I knew it would work the whole time.

But it's like on MythBusters - if we fail to destroy or blow something up on the first try, you can't just stop there.

Ahhhh... the smell of AMG (Asian mystery glue) in the morning.... :D

Brilliant Dave as always from you! [:Y:]

PS: That baffle, directional outlet, hood scoop is now aimed directly at my bench - maybe there's a message there eh.... :? I do try to use soap.... :D
