Was checking the forums I frequent this morning and saw this post. I would like to tell you I needed the day yesterday to just relax and hang out. For those whom have never met Chris, it is your loss. Every bit a gentleman, and a sponge for information. When we first drove up to the house and I showed him the stash of Ash I laughed as he kept wiping drool off his chin!
I took him for a short couple hundred yard tour of the tree line behind my house identifying all the trees by the bark and new buds. I don't know if I have ever seen a person so excited about trees other than myself and cousin of mine. Who btw the way is responsible for me having the ash to begin with. In addition he just found another downed ash tree that he says is 40" at the stump and 60 ft to the first limb! We are trying for that one as well.
