Actually, I'm quite close to Rod and east of him. Being in the same country postage would be dirt cheap but really, no worries...take 'em, use 'em and when finished put it back up for grabs.

It was the book "Clapton's Guitar" about Wayne Henderson and his love for home made pie..... :D It was sent all over the place for OLFers to deposit.... their signatures in it.

Where did the book ever end up, who has it?

Roger Siminoff has been a customer and friend of mine for a lot of years. I have spoken to him on these topics on a few occasions. The books do not have the formulas or explain the apparatus of some of the new books but not all of us possess the inclination to sweat through all of that. As Padma has said there are a lot of great guitars that have been made based intuition, experience and skill developed through years of craft. These are Siminoff's experiences and he is passing them on in his books. I like some of his ideas and you will all find something useful in them if you read them with the will to absorb.

Clapton's Guitar was a book that I started to pass around back in 2005/2006 if memory is correct.
It first went to Australia (east to west) where 6 guys read it and then sent it on to Sweden for 1 OLF member, then made its way to UK for 3 others. From there it went to Eastern Canada for 2 fellows, down into the eastern US for I believe 8-10 OLF members before it got lost. No one knows where it is now. It was signed by everyone who got it and it was suppose to be returned to me upon finalizing of its world tour. Sure wish it never got lost.....
