If anyone in Central Florida is looking for something to do this weekend, The Orlando Guitar Expo starts today. Dealers today, general public on Saturday and Sunday. I'll probably drop by Saturday for a look.

I'd go if I weren't flying out of town today.

I'm wondering how I missed this every year when I lived in Orlando.

This is the 26th year and I have never been.

Maybe I can make the 27th.

Its all just poor planning on my part. I have a hard stop on some of my "Garage Activity" coming up and need to get some work done over the weekend.

Next year though.

Lots of guitars, John. Mainly electrics... no surprise there. Still enough acoustics to make it interesting. I did run across a vendor who was selling one of John Burkett's guitars. A beautiful Gibson-style slope shouldered Dread. Brazilian back and sides, curly Koa binding. I played it a bit. A really magnificent guitar. Anyway, it was a lot of fun.
