Post subject:  ** And Yet Another Stinkin Contest ** WON

This contest is for a set of Martinish bridges that originally came from LMI or Stew-Mac, can't remember.

To win be the first to post correct answers to my questions below in this thread. Since this prize is best suited to newer builders I would ask that only those with 0 - 3 completed guitars under your belts participate. Also US contestants only please since I am paying shipping as well.

Good luck to all! [:Y:]

b) More resistant to dimensional changes caused by humidity swings
c) both a and b

QUESTION 2) Although Martin did not embrace truss rod usage until the 70's todays rods can be more complex but also do more. What feature when considering truss rods permits the rod to work in either direction?

QUESTION 3) Bridges serve a number of functions on an acoustic guitar some of which include being a guide for the strings, the location of the saddle, etc. What is yet another important function of the bridge on an acoustic guitar?

Good luck everyone!
