I like it. I have a similiar 'Strat' made from old barn planks and it has the same patina. |

Thanks for all your kind words. It was indeed very enjoyable to build and even more meaningful when the finished product was presented to the eventual owner. Actually this person didn't know about it until his birthday. This special Telecaster was a build project commissioned by the owner's elder brother. This big brother requested to use an old bench in their house and transform it into an electrical guitar, thus prolonging the bench's life span and also breathing life into it once more. Then bench Now Guitar. On his birthday (the younger brother), I was asked to perform a tune on this guitar. That got him curious about the guitar body wood. And I told the entire story before his family members… needless to say it was a touching moment for the big brother and the younger one. I felt so honored to be part of this. |
