Hi all, thanks for looking. What abrasive do you guys recommend for a small Jet 10-20 drum sander? i guess cloth backing should be the way to go, but that´s about all i know.

thanks,
Miguel.

cloth backed, 60 grit would be start. I am in Australia so can't give you brand names etc but any good supplier should have it.

I use red hill abrasives in PA. vy gud service, hi quality sandpaper /belts . You might check some euro suppliers as my 60/80 grit belts are Hermes and the other green ones come from switzerland forgot their name

I use cloth-backed 80 grit Klingpor from Germany (good but pricey).

I use the precut Jet rolls in 80, 120, & 180 on my 16-32. The abrasives are made by Klingspor (a German company)
