Good news for we Canucks who need to think twice before ordering from the US due to ridiculous shipping charges... |

They don't say which 3M tape it is. Looks like 233+ which is the standard in body shops & good stuff IMO. If it is 233+, you can get it for less at auto body supply places, i.e. NAPA. Also, if it is 233+, I think it would be too stretchy for binding. I did find what looks like the binding tape that StewMac sells at my paint store listed as masking tape for concrete. I haven't bought any yet, but it sure looks like the stuff, FWIW. Kevin Looker |

I've had issue with strapping tape... it just does not stick well enough to wood that it would come off at later (and unopportune) times. I don't know what's up but the binding tape has enough adhesion that it does not come off unless there's way too much dust on it. |

Todd, Is it the 3M 893 tape that you use? Kevin Looker |

I use the 3M 233+ .. doubled up .. a bit more time, but the tape is easy to get in any large town at an autobody place - I get mine at Carquest in Oakville .... the LV pricing is crazy, the tape is under 4$ where I get it, and they are obviously making a profit ... |
