I seem to be rapidly heading in the direction of starting a repair / restoration / customization business in my area, and am looking for a tool to easily organize and create quotes, invoices, and track inventory etc. If anyone has this software, do you like it and find it useful, or do you have another opinion? Please don't use this as an opportunity to bash the developer if you don't like it, please just be constructive and honest about it. Thanks all ! Don |

It is the lynchpin of my rapidly developing business. I come from a build perspective moreso than repair. It takes time to set up as you need to enter all the fields as you go, but once you have done so, it's just click click to make it go. There are a few features I'd like to see added, namely a function for recording deposits and calculating how much is left owing. It will flag transactions that require invoice/receipt action, tell you who owes you how much etc. To be honest, I love it, and rely on it now. It is how I keep everything together. You can add all the specs of a build, hit print, and paste it to the shop wall. Anyway, I don't know enough about accounting software in general to know if it's in any way lacking, never having used anything else, but I say go for it. I believe you can download a one month trial to take it for a spin to see if it's going to do what you need it to do for you... |

It's not supposed to be an accounting system per se, but for me that is less of an issue as I've been doing accounting work for the last 20 years or so. I'm looking at it as more of a quoting and invoicing tool, and a way to track costing by the job. Thanks for your input my meddling friend! |

I think it will do that for you. There are a lot of things in the repair section that I haven't even looked at. I will be scratching into that soon though as I'll be needing to take in more repairs to keep cash flow going. But again, try it for a month. Then you can teach me to use it...lol! But seriously, if enough of us actually started using it, a consensus for mods would be arrived at, and the producer would be more inclined to make changes upon recommendations than if there's just a scattering of us using it. I think it's gold, really.... |

I guess I would like to be able to access the software from my Nexus too, even if I'm not connected to WiFi. That product looks interesting Filippo. Thanks for your valued input as well. |

I use invoice2go for both my guitar customers, and my regular sub contract day job. Fantastic bit of software in my opinion. I just wish you didn't require the cloud subscription to activate multiple business'. ~Nil carborundum illegitemi~ |
