From the Hurricane Sandy guitar. Tiles are made from ziricote, spalted maple, and an unknown tree that was blown down by the hurricane. I think it is oak. ![]() Box Elder burl on Cedar: ![]() Walnut burl: ![]() |

A couple of works in progress. Still trying to get the hang of making a rosette out of these tiny tiles. But these are for numbers 6 & 7, if all goes according to plan. I do like seeing the various techniques and approaches. Really like this kind of thread. Thanks, Garett. |
