Haven't posted in a long while but just wanted to say that I was blown away by John's willingness to put thing right after a small mixup with a recent order. [:Y:] Thanks again John you really have set a new bechmark in my customer service experience. Great products as well.

Craig.

Yeah, John's a great guy and gives excellent service. I called him a while back because I was having some bending issues, and he talked me through his approach which I managed not to screw up, and all went well. Thanks, John! [:Y:]

I've only met John Hall once, and thus have only one John Hall story. We were at ASIA last year, and a bunch of us were standing around outside the dorms in the evening, talking guitars and enjoying a few adult beverages. I was bemoaning my first experience with hide glue and how, contrary to everything I had been told, it was a bugger to clean up.

John explained, "It's simple. You just wait till the squeeze-out boogerizes, and then you peel it off."

I understood immediately what he meant, went back home, and the next time I used hide glue, I allowed it to "boogerize", and it came off just the way John said it would.

Sad to say, John will now forever be linked in my mind with the idea of "boogerizing". :-)
