I have a couple L-00 builds and are currently in classical cases. A bit ROOMY in the upper bout! Would love to find a L-OO case that fits these little gems a little better. Anyone actually make L-OO cases? I haven't found any new style L-OO cases on line.
Kent

Not sure if this is a good fit, but they say fits L-00:

There is an Epiphone L-00 case out there. Model # 940-EL0CS. Of course it has Epiphone painted on it. There are a couple of trim levels. Most places are out of stock.

I just did a search for a case for the L-00 I’m building now and didn’t have much luck. I made mine slightly smaller than a standard L-00 with a 14" lower bout so I added some complexity to the search.

I ended up picking up the Silver Creek Classical case. I'm not going to recommend that line of cases.

I've made a couple of L00 with the online Grellier plans (great plans BTW). I bought the Martin OO case at Sam Ash and it is a great fit.

FWIW, I had a thread on this a couple months ago and no one came up with a good L-00 case. I think the closest was an EL-00 case if you don't mind the Epiphone logo (never actually tried one, but Link said it worked perfect for him). I tried a TKL 00 but as you stated, a bit roomy in the upper bout. I, too, am still searching for a suitable case for an L-00. May even have one made.

Chuck

+1 on the Guardian.
Elderly carries as well as others.

Great case.

Also, on an aside, I had a local trophy shop make a plaque with my client's name on it. Very reasonable cost. Took the emblem off the Guardian case and replaced it with the plaque.

Great addition to the build. WELL worth the price.

I scaled down my L-00 version so my search isn’t 100% relevant. I did ask Elderly what they had available and sent them my dimensions. They recommended the GCEV-00 case and provided the dimensions for the size up and size down. These are for the Canadian series of cases.

GCEV-00
Lower Bout: 14.5”
Upper Bout: 11.5”
Body Length: 19”
Total Length: 41”
Depth: 4.5

O size would be too small
GCEV-0F
Lower Bout: 13.75”
Upper Bout: 9.5”
Body Length: 20”
Total Length:
39.25”
Depth: 4.5

000 would be too big
GCEV-000
Lower Bout: 15”
Upper Bout: 11.5”
Body Length: 19”
Total Length: 41.5”
Depth: 4.5

I asked about the Guardian cased compared to the Canadian cases and they said I would probably be happier with the Canadian.

On a slightly different topic, I picked up a Silver Creek case and wasn’t happy with the quality. It just felt cheap (and it sort of was). I guess it is one of those you get what you pay for situations. The Silver Creek case is made by Guardian. The Silver Creek version is very lightweight and didn’t have much padding. If the fit was better it might have been OK but I’m not happy with it. I’m wondering how the Guardian case compares. Is there a substantial difference between the Guardian and the budget Silver Creek.

I asked Elderly about this and based on what I said they recommended the Canadian.
