Anyone ever done any biz with this co. If so would you recommend them?? thanks. They sell carapathian spruce from the ukraine ,

Is this euro-spruce tonewoods or eurotonewoods? The second is run by Art Royter, located just north of Philly. Good company.
Used to sell backs and sides too - I got the EIR for the guitar I finished last week from them about 5 years ago.

Thanks for the additional info Charlie.

I've had no issues with Art's wood, and haven't had the opportunity to go pick it out myself although that would be a possibility.

That's good to hear, Jim. The well-quartered tops I've received from Art are very nice. However, I've found John Preston's to be equally nice, always well-quartered, more reasonably priced, and John's attitude with respect to customer service is very good. My own experience with Art's customer service has not been favorable, but YMMV.
