Just put strings on this one and thought you all might like to see some pics. Honduras Rosewood/Engelmann spruce OM with ebony appointments and brown lip oyster shell inlay. The Honduras really sounds great. Very rich, with loads of sustain. Here are a few pics: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Wow! Beautiful guitar, Chris. The back looks really nice with the sap. Is the fret board bound with ebony as well? Thanks for the look! Alex ![]() |

Thanks guys. The beautiful finish is thanks to Joe White. Joe uses a poly finish, don't know what brand it is now. Can't say enough about Joe's work. Yes, the fingerboard is bound in ebony. Chris. |

Wow Chris, that's a beautiful guitar. Very tasteful and the execution is superb. BTW, the back and sides.... are they Hon. Rosewood? |

Well, Chris, you have the sheer guts to photograph your work in this sort of detail, and I don't blame you. If I could make something--anything--look this good, I would photograph it closely, too! The photography is superb, and so is the finish, but none of it would have looked this good without your attention to detail on the guitar itself. Very, very nice, indeed. Frankly, I am pretty much in awe of your craftsmanship at this moment. Patrick |

Beautiful guitar, Chris. I like the way the ebony sets off the rosewood. |

Wow, my first thoughts were on the finish too, incredible. But of course the wood combination and joinery looks exceptional as well. Nice job! |

My wife uses a Nikon D50 camera. We have had a couple of my guitars shot by a pro, bu I think my wife's work is just as good. And much easier to pay for! Chris. |

Very classy instrument! How do you like Engelmann in a guitar this size vs Sitka or Lutz? |

I think Engelmann sounds great on an OM sized guitar. I don't like working with it at all, I much prefer Sitka. Chris. |
