Catchy title, no?
Anyway, I've got a koa top, braced, and been sitting around for a while,
( I used spruce for the top on a koa set instead of the koa).
I've also got sides bent of figured maple.
I'm going to build a tenor weiss out of them.
I was thinking about reducing the lower bout from 15 to 14 inches,
and reducing the x bracing to about 1/2".
Any advice?
How come we never see tenors built around here?
I think they are cool.

Sounds interesting. Can't say that I see much difference in a weissenborn with 4 strings since it will probably be in an open tuning anyway. idunno Actually....I've never seen a tenor guitar played with any type of slide. Maybe this is the next big thing!!
What are you going for in a tenor weissenborn??

How about a 3 double-course set-up?
