The page in the tutorials for Sylvan Wells' instructions for making the Karol circle cutter is coming up missing. Anyone know where I can find it? Thanks, Wendy

I don't know which instructions are attributed to which person, but I have one caution related to whichever instructions I followed. The instructions called for high density polyethelene, and tapping the holes to matched the screw threads. I did this and found the the HDPE is too weak to support the pressure of the screws, and slipped. I got around this by using a screw that force-fit a hole without threading. I read another post where the individual used plexiglas or Lexan with tapped threads, which was strong enough to suport the screws.

I think Chris Paulik (sp?) did a good vid on that.
I just made one this weekend, and like how it works.
I added set screws all over the place, so it wouldn't slip.
Also have 2 turn screws instead of 1.
Just be careful when tightening.
Of course, aluminum would be better!

Thanks Todd, found the video on YouTube and I'll watch it this evening. Wendy
