I am in the process of constructing and electric guitar and was hoping to put a spalted maple top on the body. Does anyone know of a good source for spalted woods on the internet? Thanks |

If you're not in a hurry, toss the maple out in your backyard in a moist area and check it by taking a slice every month or so after the first 2-3 months. |

Often ebay has sets for application to solid body tops. Go to ebay and search for spalted maple. |
