Post subject:  Looking for Koa binding

Building a Honduran Rosewood SS Dred with all wood trim. Hoping someone here knows where to get nice, highly figured Koa for binding and heel cap.

I think Allied has some. You may wanna try Colonial Tonewoods also.

You can check Volcano's website also. They are selling reduced price orphan side sets which are beautiful and perfect for cutting into binding, heel caps, headplates, whatever.

Shane Niefer (High Mountain Tonewoods) has (or had a month ago) some nice curly koa bindings. Stew Mac also has some.

Try curlykoa.com. I've seen koa bindings advertised there.
