I finally got around to shooting a few pics of my alto guitar, for Arnt and anyone else who may have been interested in seeing more. Quick rundown of the woods and stuff: Top: bearclaw sitka Back, sides, neck: ash FB, bridge: ebony Trim: high figure bubinga Nut, saddle, bridge pins: middle eastern ox bone Tuners: Gotoh Polyester finish by Joe White Some of the other details were discussed in a recent thread that Steve Kinnaird started, but if anybody has any more questions, let 'em fly and I'll try to answer. |

Here's a couple more from the GAL convention. These were taken by a great guy I got to know there, at my exhibition table. This is his nephew playing the guitar. It was so great getting to hear a bunch of different people play it. Anyway, I'll shut up now, unless anybody has any questions. |
