What is the recommended top thickness for a Martin 00 (lower bout = 14.5") size guitar using spruce for the top?

I would second Todd's suggestion.
IMHO .105" would be a strict minimum with traditional bracing. Depending how aggressive you are with finish sanding, the top could end up too thin.
I like to use tops that are a tad floppier across the grain for smaller guitars. My range for 0 or 00 size guitars is between .110" and .115" so far. Like Todd I tend to do a bit of perimeter sanding (on both lower bouts and a less in front of the bridge) and see how the top responds, although I like to leave the top area right above the end block full thickness.

Todd and Laurent, thanks. Just wondered if smaller bodied guitars can go with thinner tops. :D
