Hi John, How's the new shop set up? Well I hope. Any idea of when you'll be open for business again, or at least the website? TIA |

Hesh - when I emailed him as you indicate a month ago I got an email that indicated he was not up and running yet and that he would get in touch with me about necks, etc. - haven't heard from him since. |

Hey Guys, we are ramping up right now for the big re-opening. I've added staff including Charlie Sparks, who apprenticed under Mike Franks and graduated from Roberto Venn. Charlie moved halfway across the country to work here and I'm thrilled to have him. He is the perfect fit for our business model of being guitar builders that understand CNC, not just a CNC job shop. I've also got a veteran producer of reproduction furniture who build guitars as a side gig and is well versed in CNC helping out part time. Thanks again for all of your patience. I hope to have the web site up with some of the products in the next three weeks, including some necks. Everyone who is on the mailing list will get an email at that time. |

Terry if you are in the need of a laminated precarved neck in short order, try http://www.hanalei-moon.com/ precarved necks near equal to John's. 10 day or less turn around typical. No minimum quantity 3 different heel shapes readily available. They don't show smile volute on the site but ask for the it and they will provide it. It is a bit shallower and not as tall volute than John's. But still very nice. |

I'm sure some of the new guys don't know about you, & that you're the answer to some of their needs. Great to hear you got a couple great guys that fit your business model. Prosper well, we look forward to dealing with you in the future. |

We're getting there. Wholesale orders have been pushing the web site re-opening back, but we're getting closer. One piece of good news is that my new machine is scheduled to be delivered in about 2 weeks. It is twice the size of my current main machine and has two spindles. When it's up and running we'll have three machine with a total of five spindles. The web site is about half done, and I haven't forgotten about OLF build #2. Thanks, John |
