Somewhere between a Torres and a salad bowl. Leaning more toward the bowl.
But we decided to have some fun with it. Asked Larry Robinson if he could "bend" the M.C.Escher drawing Metamorphose II into a ring for the rosette. He came up with this:

Which I think redeems the entire project. Seems Ovation-like, and more than appropriate.
We re-labeled it, printed up a label, calling it a "Ren-ovation".

Well, you're welcome.
If I can brag on Larry a bit, this was one of the most amazing pieces of inlay I've ever seen.
The little lines in the bird's wings are silver wire, inlaid through and through.
Zoom in on his work if you can. One almost forgets about the fiberglass below.
