Very nice guitar. I love Bubinga. The local Woodcraft had some very nice lumber a few years back, and I'm sitting on about 10 or 12 sets at this point, watching it age gracefully as I continue to not have enough time to spend in the shop.

Since there is such a bevy of parlor fans here right now, I have a general question. My next start is going to be based on drawings of a pre-Size 1 Martin from around 1850 (drawings from Mike Collins - thanks!) I mainly build classical and flamenco guitars when given the chance, but I was hankering to build something for steel strings. (All of our parlors are modern in this sense, no?) My question is whether you think it would look strange to have the fretboard end in classical fashion, fit to the soundhole with last fret split or not depending on geometry, as opposed to the squared off norm. I certainly do like not having to fit any complete rosette rings in the classical style. Any downside you can see immediately to taking this approach?
