There are 4 partners in the new arrangement. Bobby Middleton is the head Sawyer and "Frontman" for the tonewood division. They are all located in Terrace, no Aussies involved, although if there were I would remain a partner so I could book a trip to our overseas office! %-).

I have your Bracewood order Mike!

There are 4 owners to HMTW. Bruce also runs a busy cedar lumber mill here in Terrace, so you may not hear from him too much. It's mostly me, Bobby, who deals with orders and email. I'm part owner and head sawyer for HMTW. Sorry if the website is a bit confusing as we are trying to update while we all work like crazy. All orders placed on the website go directly to HMTW email, where I check them every morning or evening. If you place an order on the website, I print it off, package, weigh, send invoice/quote. All transactions are payable through PayPal.

I know it may be confusing if you don't hear back whether your order went through or not, but I am probably just putting it together and sending you an invoice/quote.

Cheers,
Bobby Middleton

Thanks for the interest folks.
August Sale Prices are done. If you have already placed an order (in the month of August), don't worry, you will get the sales pricing. And if I haven't already sent you an invoice I will be doing so today.
Regular Sale Prices are in affect, on our website at www.highmountaintonewood.com

Thanks again!

I don't expect to be ordering from here in the future. I still haven't received items promised by Shane.

I'm sure if you sent Bobby an email he would look after your order. It's apparent that it probably got lost in the shuffle when the company changed hands, an understandable occurrence. I can't imagine that you're still waiting for something that was ordered months ago, sent in a pm or an email to a person that has nothing to to with this company now!
Well I suppose it's your loss, but I would think most people would reorder, given the circumstances.

Regarding -- pthes

Lots of info missing from the post -- the whole world knows Shane sold the business what's he got to do with the issue? -- Did HMT fail to return the $$. Did you even pay for the stuff? What did they tell you or is the first HMT heard of it? Consumers have responsibilities too.

I have contacted Peter on this already. HMTW carries no liabilities from me. They acquired the business clean.

Thanks
Shane

Yeah really. At thiis point if anyone ordered from Shane, paid him, and never got anything, they should take it up with Shane.

Indeed!
It should also be taken up "off forum".

NEW LUTZ SPRUCE LOGS IN YESTERDAY!! I am splitting bolts today and it looks very nice! These logs are very tight grained (30-35+ rings/inch) and as straight as arrows. I will taking photos and posting soon.
I am also still drowning in 'AA' and 'A' guitar sets, which are on sale! And brace wood. I have lots and lots of brace wood.
This is Lutz Spruce, not Sitka. I hand pick logs from areas we have sourced Lutz from before. And they are nice!!

Anyone cruising on FaceBook, should look up 'High Mountain Tonewood Company', and give us a big ol' 'Like'!
Not trying to pull anyone away from here though as I think this forum is one of the best thing ever. Just figured I would jump on the bandwagon!

'AA' Standard Guitar Sets = $22/set
Box of 10 = $200 (WHILE IN STOCK)
These are nice 'AA' sets, most are really stiff with minor downgrades. These wont be graded again though, but rather put in box. Out of habit, I will look quickly for checking, but that's it! I have lots and would like to see them find homes.

Awesome deal for any builder with a school/class!!

Any chance of a representative picture of the "A" sets, Bobby?

Sorry, but what does the (60") mean? Is that a weight? Thanks.

Jay, it will be 60" of width (5 feet). So enough pieces of boards that are 3/4" thick and 22" long to make up 60" wide of bracewood. The pieces will be likley 2" to 6" wide in random widths totalling 60".

Does that help?

Thanks
Shane

Thanks Shane, that right on the bracewood. It's a round number that fits our boxes.

That pile of 3A and Master you see is actually a uke/mando sets. They were sawn down to small size due to checking/defect.
