Hi guys, I'm buying the binding cutter from LMII along with a few of the bearings. My question is ( it may be a dumb one) what's the difference between the long and short shank.... Besides the length haha.
Just wondering which one I should get.
Thanks in advance!

Depends a bit on your particular laminate trimmer, but if you're using an auxiliary base with a "donut" on yours, then you'll probably want the longer shank.

Yep, even with the long one, I would like to have a smidgen more shaft engagement in the router,

Got it, I haven't gotten the laminate trimmer yet, but I'll get the long shank.
Thanks!
