A customer wants a guitar with figured/flamed black locust back and sides.

Anyone have a set they'd care to get rid of? Or know a dealer who might have some?

Thanks in advance

Steve

Steve, Bow River has some black locust listed here.

It's not figured, but if you contact Ed he might be able to fix you up.

I have quite a bit, not figured or flamed (would like to see some). I know Hampton Brothers have a few sets listed on eBay.
This particular set OM is just about perfectly quartered great medullary rays.

Tom Thiel of Northwind Tonewoods, has some locust, but I don't know if any of it is curly. I got a couple of sets from him that look quite similar to clinchriver's.

I have cut quite a bit of black locust, and I have never seen any flame except for crotch figure. i would not use crotch on the back or sides of a guitar.
